Course Description

  • In this course, students will study many aspects of the Family and Consumer Sciences
    content areas to prepare for the life skills necessary for independent living, including:
    an introduction to foods through cooking (i.e. cooking and food preparation terms,
    reading a recipe, measuring and equivalents, equipment and utensils, etc.)an
    entrepreneurship unit, and other essential life skills that will help them now and in the
    future.
