Mrs. Bahn
Reading/Language Arts Teacher
I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher. I love having the opportunity to work with students each day and to help foster their love of reading and learning. One of my favorite parts of teaching is watching my students grow as people. It is so fun to see their confidence grow and their personalities shine as they learn and discover their interests, talents, and passions.

Mrs. Schuettpelz
Science Teacher
I chose education because I love working with kids. I enjoy teaching science because it opens the students' eyes to the world in which we live. Science can be connected to our every day lives in so many ways. Over the years I have discovered that I learn so much from my students and they open my eyes to many things as well. The students' willingness to learn and their interest in a variety of topics make teaching enjoyable each and every day.

Mr. Steele
Social Studies Teacher
I attended Mankato State in the fall of 2013 with business-finance aspirations. The following summer, I found a counselor position at YMCA Day Camp Kici Yapi. I did not expect that I would make so many great relationships with the campers and come next school year, I was inspired to change my major to Elementary Education. After spending time in the Jordan School District, I know I made the right decision; as I truly have found my passion in teaching and coaching. I love the journey of each school year and having the opportunity to impact lives in the classroom and on the field. // B.S.
